Introduction "A Little Princess" by Frances Hodgson Burnett, is about a little girl, named Sara Crewe, who attends a boarding school in London away from her loving father. She wears beautiful clothes, has gracious manners, and tells the most wonderful stories. Then one day, Sara becomes penniless and must wear rags, sleep in the school's dreary attic and work for a living. She is all alone, but keeps telling herself that she can still be a little princess inside, if only she tries hard enough.

a. I believe that the narrator, although never stated, is a older woman figure who has a very open personality with loving and giving traits. Being an undramatized speaker, the narrator really gives the reader something to look forward to when she looks at all aspects of each character throughout the story and looks into the minds of all.

b. The narrator's point of view is third-person omniscient, in which third person is used and has the ability to share what all the characters are feeling or thinking (total omniscience) or what only a few characters are feeling or thinking (limited omniscience). The narrator is outside the story undramatized and subjective.
