This poses a problem for the US because at this moment Israel does not want to get into a war, but a major attack like that would bring what is left of Israel into the war. Then the US's allies would start turning on the US because they don't want to be put into a dangerous position and before you know it, the whole world will be at each other's throats.
As of March 1, 00, Thirty-Two countries were asked if they supported the United States in their bid for war on Iraq, if they wanted war but not yet or if they didn't want war at all. Majority of the countries voted for war but not yet.
